Monday, September 13, 2021 - A bit of oaky truffle powder greets you on the nose, with dark cherry coulis and a touch of dusty earth. The palate is a somewhat modern expression of Sangiovese, with dense & intense dark red fruit, mouthcoating tannins, bracing acidity, and a lick of forest floor. Pretty powerful stuff here that likely needs time, and representative of 14.5% ABV.
