Monday, September 27, 2021 - From underground cellar. Lovely Burgundian nose I could spot from across the room. Flavor was simple and had some strong tannins that after an hour evolved into a more vegetal green tones on the palate indicating under ripeness. Overall quite an enjoyable wine and I am glad I have more. I also have the 2016 – – it will be interesting to open them side-by-side to see if you can taste the ripeness in the vintage.
