Monday, September 27, 2021 - Probably at its peak. Purchased from Ridge a few months ago so provenance was likely very good, essentially zero ullage. Cork was about to fall apart with a typical corkscrew, but came out just fine with an Ah So. Deep ruby with basically zero bricking, if anything a hint of garnet around the edge. Delicious red and black fruits on the nose. Plum and baking spice. Palate is more dark fruit with resolved tannin and still apparent acidity. Tasted blind this was pegged for a BDX blend. Not sure if I got a unicorn bottle, but this was stellar
