Thursday, September 23, 2021 - Taste with Langton's Chris Ringland Online Masterclass.
Appearance: purple/ruby, similar to the 2013 Hoffman but not as deep in colour intensity.
Nose: Nice perfume - some red fruits as well as the usual blackberry and plum. Quite floral as well. Great complexity - lots going on. Some spice. Chocolate. A whiff of smoke.
Palate: rich, ripe fruit. Full bodied. Intense and concentrated but well structured and not overpowering. Well integrated tannins.
Needs a lot more time - I agree with the drinking range already written of 2030-2065. Outstanding.
