Saturday, October 9, 2021 - Decanted about 6 hours. Dark inky color. Notes of lavender, cassis, chocolate and currants. Firm but fine and sweet tannins. Abundant black fruit. Balanced. The following morning this was much more open on the palate. Added notes of tar and violet. Seamless on the palate. A stunning HSS in the making but needs an extended decant right now.
