Saturday, October 23, 2021 - Decanted for 2 hrs to start. Opened up as the evening progressed, though tannins still need more time. Nice acid component. Black peppercorn, blackberry, leather, forest bramble. Overall what I would expect at this level for a Napa cab. And, a delicious complement to tonight’s NY Strip. Probably still has 5+ years in the tank for my remaining bottles. Great qpr.
