Sunday, February 8, 2009 - Popped this open and poured a small share. Thought the wine was very disjointed, hot and unpleasant. After an hour in the decanter we tried this again, and much had evolved over that short time. Paired with Humboldt Fog. This exhibited bright red raspberries and ripe cherry. Unparalleled texture, smooth and silky. In my opinion the oak was very complementary. Over the night I became a big fan of this style. I have a few of the cabs from various years which I am very eager to try now. Delicious!
