Saturday, November 20, 2021 - Second wine of chateau Pontet Canet. Medium+ garnet red colour. Medium intensity aroma of cherries, cranberries, balsamic, violets, cassis, leather, medicinal hints. Medium body, powerful and refined texture, so silky and elegant with medium density, medium acidity, velvety tannins, smoky and fruity finish. Drink up now as this hot vintage is going nowhere, actually I think it is slightly off peak already.
