Saturday, November 20, 2021 - Kevin's tonight at Big Al' & Janelle's epic Spain inspired dinner. Felt like we dinned in Seville :) Almost missed this btl and caught a pour near the end of the night. This was more dinner party then hardcore wine geek event and I happily lost some of my wine focus while enjoying conversations with guest I'd not previously met and my wine buddy's wives who show up less frequently. It was fun to try a wine with btl age from this producer. I own 5 vintages of this myself all from '05-'12 so fun to taste one this far back. This was fully resolved, elegant w/ rich dark fruit, irony mineral & underbrush. Very tasty but I was running out of gas and this came a bit late for me.
