Sunday, November 28, 2021 - onsumed over two days. Very pure berry nose, perfumed with violet followed by mountain herbs, some minty notes. The palate is still very taught with tannins at the forefront. With some coaxing some chalky and loamy cassis and currant come through, followed by coco nib, tar, dry tea leaves. Very pointless to drink now. Will clearly improve however the weakness of the vintage shows.
