Monday, November 29, 2021 - Pop and pour. In the glass, clear deep red at the rim, shading to a very dark but still clear red color at the core. On the nose, crushed cherries, nutmeg, and a modest note of citrus. On the palate, a head fake towards lean austerity before a wealth of fruit and acid unfurls - the acidity is what suggests that lean times are ahead, but it's never able to overpower the fruit. Very lively wine on the palate.
