flawed

Tuesday, November 30, 2021 - I’m really struggling with this one. I don’t know if it is flawed?, but I’m finding it really unenjoyable. There is a distinct rubbing alcohol smell which hides anything fruity or floral that may be there. It is quite different from the Riesling “petrol” nose. I don’t think I’ve encountered it before. The wine is virtually weightless/watery on the palate. There are hints of jasmine, ginger, underripe peach - but mostly everything subsumed to the smell. Finish is virtually nil.
