Thursday, December 2, 2021 - Missed this one in the Eurocave and past its drinking window. Very little of the nose except 'thickness' - reminds us of stewed cherries. This continues on to the palate. The Cinnamon, probably from the Zinfandel, does come though distinctly, and the pepper is still there. Little sweetness left but this held up better than I dared expect. Also interesting that it was the stronger, spicier flavours and aromas that persisted.
