Sunday, February 15, 2009 - Probably at the end of it's optimal drinking window, I picked up the bottle at clearance for less than $6 and it was well worth it for that price. At first a bit "hot" with alcohol and tannins that open up with time to develop some strong black cherry flavors that dominate on the palate. Not the most complex merlot by any means but worth the $6 I paid for it.
