Friday, December 10, 2021 - Mid ruby with a slight amber rim, medium optical density and reflectivity. Aromas of cherry, tobacco, garden soil, and a green quince note.
Light in body with nice acidity and plenty of fine-grained tannins. Cherry, tar, tobacco, and some toasty nutty character. Easy going and elegant, with plenty of character and presence.
Well made, classic red, but without much complexity or flair. Just solid, and at a very reasonable price. Classic entry level Barolo here.
