Wednesday, December 15, 2021 - Yum! These aged Zins from Ridge are always such a treat with an insane QPR. Decanted to remove considerable sediment. Lovely aromas of pipe tobacco, cinnamon, black raspberry, and even a hint of anise. Complex and compelling. Red berries on the palate with a streak of milk chocolate and some dry underbrush. Medium weight, plenty of acid for balance, and a medium-long drying finish. Well put-together bordering on elegant. Drink now or soon. Thanks, Ridge!
