Sunday, December 12, 2021 - Glass before dinner at my sister’s. PnP. On the nose and palate, bright red fruit, light red florals, forest floor, spice and some minerality. Medium ruby with a garnet tinge, medium bodied, light to medium legs. Medium tannins, medium+ acidity, no heat. Medium+ on intensity and persistence, medium complexity. Ibid my thoughts on PH generally from the ‘19 Morning Dew, but this was more open for business, the fruit more vibrant, and the acidity giving the enterprise a really nice electricity. Still, likewise ibid my thoughts on air, bottle age and food from the MD; this is just starting from a better place, IMO. Promising. 91-92+.
