91 Points

Sunday, December 19, 2021 - Bright and upfront ripe black raspberries and blueberries with sweet spices and licorice. The palate echoed the nose, juicy and plummy. Fresh and clean with some clove and cinnamon towards the finish. Good and soft finish. Tannins are prominent now and will soften with time. Ready to drink with minimal decanting.

Retasted in May 2022, the nose gained more depth, a touch more roasted herbs and earthiness. Palate remained as juicy as before, soft and rich after an hour of decanting. Good length and tannins softened in the finish. Can continue to develop for the next few years before reaching maturity. No change in score for now.
