Sunday, December 26, 2021 - Lovely and fully mature with lots of life left. Plenty of Saint Emilion character - soft, round and feminine with dark fruit and chocolate and violets and a classic Bordeaux nose. But it lacks the length of a great Saint Emlion. Doesn’t quite have the backbone. Very pleasurable but not profound and I don’t think it ever will be. But a wine can be wonderful without being profound, and this one is.
