Monday, December 27, 2021 - Opened and paired with beef cabbage stew. Dark, inky crimson color with gritty sediment. The floral nose brought cherry blossoms and forest floor. The palate brought nice red currant juxtaposed against black fruit notes and a salty finish. Steady, balanced, linear, and an extremely drinkable Cuvée. Did not need to decant. Drink 2022-2025. Technical score: 90. Enjoyment score: 92.
