Thursday, December 30, 2021 - Right colour - ticked. The nose - yep, crisp citrus aroma - ticked. The body - beginning to blossom with hints of honey emerging accompanied by apple and strangely apricots - ticked!

But I ain’t so sure this will evolve into a superb riesling. There is something missing in the body, a lack of intensity and it is broader than it should be although the acid is still very much there. It is lacking definition and finesse at the moment.

So don’t drink now. Leave for another 3+ years and perhaps it will come together then. Can easily go for another 10 years.
