Sunday, January 2, 2022 - Well the trend seems to be continuing into the New Year for Broken Stones and that is a broken cork . I had opened the bottle three hours before dinner pushed the cork through then decanted through a vinturi.. Dark fruit and a hint of spice on the nose, the palate was dark berries, and charred meat.. The finish goes on and on and on. This bottle like the one we drank last year was missing some of the vibrancy that it had showed in the past, some of the flavors were just a little muted. I do have a few bottles of the 2010 left and i will probably consume them later this year providing I can find them in my disorganized mess of a cellar.
