Sunday, January 9, 2022 - This is classic pfalz riesling, still very young. Clear golden color. Typical nose of ripe peach, red apples, citrus and petroleum. Medium to full bodied, lots of acidity to balance the sweet fruit. Fresh aftertaste with clear mineral tones. Good length. A very good example of this wine. It has evolved very little since the last bottle tasted, something probably due to screw cork as sealer. Will keep for many years.
