98 Points

Sunday, January 9, 2022 - Inky dark in color, the wine exudes notes of kirsch liqueur, thyme, flowers, black raspberries, smoke, espresso and peppery herbs. Concentrated, rich and intense, the wine is mouth-coating, yet even with all that power, there is an elegance and sensuality on the palate that steals the show. The finish really sticks with you with its almost endless, seamless layers of fruit. Give it a few years in the cellar to fully come together and for the oak to integrate. This will age quite nicely. Drink From 2025 - 2040.
