Sunday, June 12, 2005 - Rich maroon red. Blackberry and blackcurrant, chocolate and a touch of mint. Moderate oak on nose. Quite heavy initial mouthfeel with rich berry fruit. Acidity a little strong. Mint more noticeable on aftertaste. Tannic, needs time. Changed completely over the period of about 1/2 hour - seemed less 'fruit-bomb', and the oak became more apparent.
