Friday, January 28, 2022 - First try with the Private Reserve wine preserver. Will do a ps re how it worked. 10th bottle from a case bought en primeur. Nose is touch of farmyard (which I like) giving way to blackcurrant and tobacco. Plenty of fruit and even more tannins, suggesting a long future. Very persistent finish. A top wine in a bit of a sub par vintage. P.s. the wine preserver is excellent although you need to use twice as much as instructed.
