Friday, March 4, 2022 - Sourced from one the oldest vineyards in Napa (1880s). Double Decanted, deep ruby red and purple tint. Opens with red plums and boysenberry compote. Notes of savory bacon fat and tobacco smoke. Some darker florals of something like purple iris. Bold and full bodied, tannic and medium/low-ish acid. This kept building perfume and strength over a couple hours in the glass.

This was much better than my last bottle so that one must have been a dud.
