Monday, March 2, 2009 - Better showing than last bottle (85) but still not too impressed. Cured meat (salami?) on the initial nose but blew off to aromas of black fruit and pepper. Medium bodied with more blackberry and leather in the mouth. The finish is where this wine suffers. Short and a little bitter. There is much better Cali syrah out there.

Better on the second day....moments of nice fruit. They seemed to come and go with each sip though.
