Saturday, March 12, 2022 - Cork was good with a little seepage. Last bottle of a case of 12. Colour still vibrant ruby/ garnet - little bit of brick around the edge when swirling - very narrow clear rim and quite limited sediment. Nose is quite forward - very Bordeaux for sure - black fruit and smoky leather. Palate is elegant - understated but muscular. Nice dilute blackcurrant - very refreshing with some fine grained tannins coming through on the finish. Not sure this would de one to keep long term as I suspect the fruit is only going one way and there are plenty of tannins still to resolve.
