Wednesday, March 23, 2022 - A restaurant buy. Very deep colour and a good nose with plenty of fruit and spice. The palate showed dark berry fruit initially but dark plum and damson flavours emerged as the wine opened. Deep, soft, but persistent tannins. Very good with food. A touch of pepper and my wife got some raspberry later. Long, complex, and with very good balance.
