Sunday, April 3, 2022 - This 1990 Roumier Chambolle village offers superb complexity and forwardness. The ripeness balance, high fruit-intensity, and the forwardness reminds me of the more recent warm vintages, such as 2015. Tannins are fully resolved and nuanced with underlying minerality on the palate. Saturated fruits, really well balanced.
Light transparency but not superficial. At a great spot where maturity is in full swing while there is still a lovely fruit core. (91/100)
