Thursday, March 12, 2009 - Kept in the cellar to see how it might develop. When young it was a raw cabernet but after a few years in bottle this has emerged as an excellent bottle. No age at the rim, full deep red colour, lovely cedary bouquet, very " old-world" full on the palate with round fruit & balancing tannin/acid and a long finish. Not claret perhaps, but near to it. I like it. Excellent value.
