Friday, March 18, 2022 - Held on to my last bottle for years past expected sell-by date and I feel rewarded. Still a big, fruity wine, but the oak has finally integrated. Vanilla and licorice dancing in and out on a nose of dark fruit. Lush, spicy blackberry on the palate. Finish was short, with slightest bit of heat, but overall, enjoyable enough that I picked up another half-dozen bottles of other vintages from this winery to drink in 5-10 years.
