Sunday, April 24, 2022 - A powerful wine, opaque in color and flavors. Oak lurks underneath its fleshy tones. Perhaps this wine is too much "over the top". Perhaps it's still too young to drink. To be seen if it ever emerges from its cocoon. Tasted alongside a 2017 Basatus Crozes-Hermitage, also a Syrah, which was much more accessible.
