Sunday, August 20, 2006 - This was a step up in depth of color, with a jeweled ruby. Vanilla was the first thing to hit the nose, but then black cherries, cassis, cola, chocolate, plums, and some bell pepper. Very nice. Full bodied mouthfeel with more plums, lots of dark stone fruits , chocolate again, lots of grip still, a touch of green on the finish that I attribute in retrospect to the Franc. Very nice indeed. 93 pts with time in hand.
