Tuesday, May 10, 2022 - Pale lemon in the glass. Still a bit restrained on the nose, but definitely showing layers of potential here - starts out with a nice burst of stone fruit and some green apple, then with air opens to more secondary aromas (brioche, butter) and a strong streak of minerality (feels like bathing myself in a mountain river). Palate is focused, laser precise. The acidity doesn't hit first like you see in many young Chablis, but is straight away balanced with the rich fruit and moderate alcohol. Smooth texture, so easy to drink. Glad I've tried this now and have one more bottle to check in on in a few years.
