Friday, May 27, 2022 - Splash decant. Medium-deep ruby color. Gorgeous red fruit on the nose and I thought I detected coconut as well which does not seem correct. Medium body, medium-plus acid, medium-to-medium-plus fine grained tannins. Sour wild cherries on the palate with some cedar and rosemary picking up mid palate and through the finish. Great depth to the fruit blended with savory undertones. This may be the best Vino Nobile I have had. Did struggle to stand up to Pasta alla Norma.
