Monday, May 30, 2022 - Garnet in color with a nose like a bouquet of violets, licorice was prominent with black cherry, black currant, strawberry and red plum notes. The palate started off silky on the attack followed by a savory mid-palate with the licorice notes and darker red and some black fruit coming through . Medium+ acidity, med tannins, med body. I just wanted to sip and explore this wine with the lamb chops I made. I think this still has a few years to reach its potential.
