Sunday, June 5, 2022 - Decanted for sediment. Medium garnet color. Nose starting to take on more of a cooked/baked fruit note to go along with some cedar and spice. Similar flavors on the palate with ripe plum and black cherry fruit but a slight raisin note on the finish. Alcohol sticking out just a touch on the finish as well. I think the abv on the bottle said 15% and it is showing as the wine ages. This was fresher and in a better spot a few years ago. I would drink up.
