Friday, June 17, 2022 - Open and expressive nose, ripe but fresh fruit (red berries, plums), orange zest and spices, hint of warmth; quite full-bodied (14.5%) but not heavy or unwieldy, juicy and floral, hint of youthful grip from finely grained tannins; slightly loose finish, with a hint of vanilla and some alcoholic warmth. Should improve with a couple of years' ageing.
