Tuesday, April 5, 2022 - From Mag after 6 hours double decanted. Came around but needed every hour to open up. Deep garnet color. Cherry and raspberry upfront with forest floor. Palate still showed 96 tannin and acidity though muted by 26 years. More fruit and earthiness with some spice and leather on back of palate. Long finish but a tad dry.
