97 Points

Wednesday, June 22, 2022 - PNP into Grassl Liberte glass (“Leaf” day): Pale bright ruby to the eyes, brilliant colors.

Exuberant dark red and blue berry fruits. Second layer consists of more wild red strawberries. Minty and exceptionally well defined dried florals, superb elegance here. This is reminiscent of the best showings of Dutraive style.

Hedonistic in every way, featherweight although not yet ultra complex but also indefinitely drinkable for me. Mellow and lingering finish.

What a light-footed and noble effort here! 96-97 points easy.

Second pour, 3/4 left and 15 minutes upon opening: Still at the fruity phase in my view but seem to be accumulating more energy on palate here.

Third pour, 1/2 left and 45 minutes upon opening: Now the tannins are creeping up but also the dry extracts and floral spices’ complexity. “Wow” wine for me and more like 97 points for its effortlessness.

Fourth pour, 1/5 left and 1 hour upon opening: This is now quite stable with more floral focused flavor profile.
