Saturday, July 23, 2022 - This was a strange one. As expected it was dark and inky, the tannins were huge and the fruit was elusive. There's an earthy mushroom aroma with some blackberry and mild spice flavors. A lot of crusting in the bottle. Alcohol was hot and needs time to hopefully integrate. At times I was thinking it was flawed but ended up scoring it a 91.
