Saturday, July 23, 2022 - 1st of 12, decanted an hour, perfect cork and level - dark but unusually transparent for Cornas ruby, hint of brown on rim; attractive bouquet, lavender and garrigue notes to black plum, cherry and dried herbs; fullish, ok length but slightly dilute, decent balance and freshness, less complex than nose, some upside, no rush. VGI (17).
