Sunday, July 24, 2022 - Enjoyed at a Chaine des Rotisseurs dinner in Charlotte NC at the Figtree restaurant paired with a course of lobster brioche and grilled corn and paired excellently. Highly recommend, a very good QPR at the average CT cost and drinking superbly well - mature and at peak or maybe slightly past peak - drink not hold. Clear with a slight yellow tint, soft mouth feel, medium bodied, very well integrated, lovely acid and fruit present and a very pleasant medium long aftertaste. Nose of yellow apple, pear and a hint of anise. Flavor profile beautiful with good acidic freshness throughout, a warmer fruitier start with apple, peach and green melon with a more steely minerally finish.
