Likes this wine:

Sunday, August 14, 2022 - Not rating this bottle yet. A single glass, pop’n’pour, with the rest to be consumed tomorrow. But, this was just too interesting to not ask about. There is insane hazelnut in the bottle, right down to salinity and tannin suggesting that dry salty husk around the hazelnut.
Honey, sea, orange blossom, rocks, and a smidge of tea - but all hiding behind hazelnut. Really subtle fruit to be found. I love it, super intriguing and tasty, but way different than the previous bottles I’ve had and the other notes suggesting tropical fruit.
So what happened here? Is this just the wine maturing with age? Poor storage? Bottle variation? It doesn’t feel over the hill so I don’t think it’s that, but it just so different.
Mostly putting this out there to get educated if anyone has thoughts to share. This wine is generally, I think, pretty different than the norm to begin with (but one of my personal faves) and this particular bottle was even more of a stretch beyond my experience but I’m fascinated.
