Wednesday, April 1, 2009 - Republic wines -- mostly CA cabs (Guild Office): Solid nose of chocolate, coffee and cherries. Palate is rocking -- with creamy cherries, chocolate and toasty oak. Great purity of flavor and balance. There's structure here, but an opulence as well. Outstanding! $45 retail.
