Likes this wine:

Saturday, March 16, 2019 - The color has lost a bit of its sheen, with just a hint of browning at the rim. Juicy red plum and blackberry with damp soil and a slight licorice edge. Nothing herbal or green. The chalky tannins are front and center upon opening, though they recede with air. Not terribly deep or long, but the combination of vintage plus age has given this a kind of understated richness that’s very appealing. Fine to drink or hold at this point.
