Saturday, May 21, 2011 - Limes and green apples show on the nose along with popcorn butter from some the oak. This works well with the fruit, and the nose is big and enjoyable. Lime flavors show themselves up front, and they persist through the entire experience. The green apple flavors sit at the front of the tongue. The oak is round and rich, starting small on the finish and slowly rising up to contribute fully. The acidity dries things out late while all of the flavors persist for a good length of time.
