Sunday, September 7, 2014 - This is another lesson in "don't rush to drink a bottle..." Opened and decanted about 30 mins. Very mild nose but hints of alcohol. First taste was almost jarring-bitter, tannic. Let it sit for another 45 mins or so. Began to improve but still a little muddy and acidic. Probably should have waited another 3 years to open....
